Frequently asked questions.

Straight answers about building your live-music history during the Wristband private beta.

What is Wristband?

Wristband is a personal live-music archive. Add concerts you attended, remember which performers you saw, write Show notes, and keep photos together around the shared Show.

How do I find and add a Show?

Open Add Show and enter any two useful clues, such as artist and city or venue and date. Wristband searches Setlist.fm and its own catalog, then lets you review the match and add remembered openers.

If no match is right, you can add a user-submitted Show. Festival-aware search and richer uncertainty handling remain planned beta work.

Where do openers and setlists come from?

Provider-linked Shows may include performers and songs from Setlist.fm. You can also add an opener from memory. Provider data may be incomplete, so Wristband labels user-submitted information and avoids claiming uncertain details are verified.

How do photos work?

Beta members may add up to five JPEG, PNG, or WebP photos per Show. Video is not enabled. New photos are private by default; you can change each photo to public. Your photos appear before photos shared by other attendees.

Only upload media you own or are allowed to share. Photo captions and formal reporting/moderation tools are still being developed.

What is public and what is private?

You control whether your profile is public or private and whether individual Show memories and photos are public or private. Private content remains available to you. Public content may appear to other Wristband members and visitors as the product develops.

Never put sensitive personal information in a public tagline, memory, or photo.

Can I edit or remove things?

  • Edit your name, username, hometown, tagline, avatar, and profile visibility from Profile.
  • Remove your own photos, memories, or an entire Show from your Wristband using typed confirmation.
  • Download a portable archive of your Shows and related data.
  • Permanently delete your account from the small deletion option at the bottom of Profile.

Can I rate or rank concerts?

Not yet. One-to-five-star ratings, personal rankings, and sorting by rating, venue, date, artist, and photo status are planned.

Can I tag friends or share a Show?

Shared galleries can attribute public photos to their uploader. Attendance tagging, invitations, friend connections, and contribution permissions are planned and are not yet active.

How do I reset my password?

Choose Forgot password on the sign-in page. Wristband sends a secure recovery link through its authentication provider. If an account exists, follow that link to choose a new password.

Is this the final product?

No. Wristband is a private beta. Features, limits, provider integrations, branding, and these documents will change as the service is tested.
